In 1983 Kelly was a paper round girl at the sweet shop that once stood on the site where Café 1809 is now. In December 2014 Café 1809 opened and Kelly achieved her vision of bringing a community hub to her village. Café 1809 is now a bustling cafe welcoming everyone from the young, wiser, business men and women, walkers, runners, cyclists (bike parking available) and mums with buggies.
Serving healthy options as part of our Active Soul initiative, breakfast, lunch, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, smoothies and more.
