Faversham Markets

Web Links Location Local station Faversham
Food & Drink

Mentioned in the Domesday book and located in the heart of Faversham’s historic town centre, with it’s stilted Guildhall, town pump and medieval buildings as a backdrop, we are very proud of our market and it’s status as the oldest market in Kent.

Regular Street Markets in Faversham

Faversham’s Charter Market runs on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays every week, selling a range of local produce, household items, plants, collectibles and other interesting bits and pieces.

We also have two monthly markets:

Best of Faversham Arts, Crafts and Food Market on the first and third Saturday of the month in Preston Street. It is renowned for the range and quality of its food and drink products and boasts a growing industry of locally made arts and crafts. The Best of Faversham art, craft & food market showcases this abundance of local talent and quality offerings.

Faversham Antiques and Vintage Market usually on the first Sunday of every month, except September. . It is the only dedicated antiques and vintage town centre market in Kent. The market offers a wide range of vintage items including antiques, clothing, collectibles, jewellery, paintings and furniture. Many of Faversham’s lovely shops and eateries are also open.

The majority of wares on sale at the market are products or produce within a 15 mile radius of Faversham – local things created by local people. Head along to discover traditional, local shopping at its best!

Follow Faversham Markets Facebook page for the latest market information.
