Leybourne Lakes Country Park is a Green Flag Award winning country park and offers 93 beautiful hectares of lakes, grasslands, woodland and marshland to be enjoyed by the Park's visitors and wildlife. Following extensive restoration the park was opened in 2004. It is a designated Local Wildlife site, an Area of Local Landscape Importance and a Natural England accredited country park. The Park promotes the wide range of wildlife species it is home to.
Laybourne Lakes is an ideal location for a wide variety of leisure activities for the whole family including; walking, cycling, windsurfing, scuba diving, canoeing and fishing (all lakes are licensed to angling clubs).
For children there is the adventure trail, a play frame and also smaller equipment for younger kids near the Ocean Lake. The mobile cafe provides refreshments between 11am to 3pm daily during summer holidays, at weekends and on bank holidays (weather permitting).
