Come and visit Margate Harbour Arm and see the town from another angle. The Harbour Arm is a lovely place to come for a stroll and it's south-facing so gets the sun all day.

The stone pier is known as the Harbour Arm and was built between 1812 and 1815. The lighthouse at the end was rebuilt in 1955.

You can enjoy a meal or a drink right next to the sea at one of the restaurants, cafes or bars. 

See the bronze shell lady named after Mrs Booth who JMW Turner lodged with located at the end of the harbour arm. You will find the art gallery named after him Turner Contemporary

Margate Visitor Information Centre, located in Droit House is located at the start of the Harbour arm 

There is on-site car parking - for satnav the best postcode to use is CT9 1JD.
