In the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, down a quiet country lane surrounded by fields and gentle hills, on the border of Kent and East Sussex, near a little village called Ticehurst, a stunning hidden gem of a garden and manor house can be found.
Pashley Manor Gardens is well known but not all locals know about it! This is a day out to delight garden and sculpture lovers.
The gardens are well planned and laid out to celebrate the colour of nature and set the historic manor off to its full glory.
For the opening in April, gasp in awe at the 30,000 tulip blooms during the Tulip Festival and the bluebells awash over the charming woodland paths. Bright herbaceous borders, hundreds of roses, historic walled gardens, lilies, dahlias also form this award winning garden.
Open Tuesday to Saturday, from April to September. Enjoy a light lunch or afternoon tea in the licensed Garden Room Café with Terrace ‘sourced from the abundant kitchen garden’. Picnic spot available too.
