Walking with History in Faversham

Active and Outdoors

Enjoy a 90 minute stroll around fascinating Faversham, a charming and historic town, escorted by knowledgeable & interesting Faversham Society guides. The town boasts more than 475 listed buildings and one of the finest medieval streets in the country. The Parish Church of St Mary of Charity has a crown spire visible for miles around, England's oldest brewery has been here since 1698 whilst Faversham Creek remains a haven for wildlife and boats.

Walks start from the Fleur De Lis Heritage Centre, 12 Preston Street, (a short walk from the railway station).

These run every Saturday, post pandemic, from Easter to the end of September:

1st Saturday of the month @ 14.00, and other Saturdays and Bank Holiday Mondays @ 10.30.

During July and August, they take place @ 10.30 and 14.00.

The cost is £5 per adult and £3 for accompanied children.

Participation in the walk entitles a free entry to the superb museum on the day and once in the subsequent year.
