Whitstable Castle and Gardens

Whitstable Castle or Tankerton Towers as it was first called started life as a residence for the Pearson family in the late 1790s and over its long history, it has been developed and improved by successive owners.

Whitstable Castle is a five minute walk from the harbour.  It is situated on the seafront between Whitstable town and Tankerton slopes.  The Castle provides a unique and special venue for weddings, private parties, local classes, corporate and community events including a public park complete with ornamental gardens and childrens play area. 

The Orangery Tearooms and sun terrace is open every day from 10.00am until 4.00pm (5.00pm during the summer).
