The Sevenoaks bookshop is absolutely thrilled to be hosting the twice Costa-prize winning author in Sevenoaks, celebrating the publication of his brand new novel A Thousand Moons (Faber & Faber) the sequel to his multi-prize winning Days Without End.

The Sevenoaks bookshop is absolutely thrilled to be hosting the twice Costa-prize winning author in Sevenoaks, celebrating the publication of his brand new novel A Thousand Moons (Faber & Faber) the sequel to his multi-prize winning Days Without End.

The event is a wonderful opportunity for book lovers local to the Sevenoaks area to hear and meet such a celebrated author in the intimate setting of the beautiful Drive Methodist Church (rather than seeing a speck in the distance in a vast London venue!).

The Sevenoaks Bookshop continually works hard to bring the best and most interesting authors to the area. ‘Our ambition is to reward our customers with access to writers they most admire, and inspire new generations of readers and writers,’ Fleur Sinclair, bookshop owner.

The Sevenoaks Bookshop has been serving the Sevenoaks community since 1948, and in 2018 was crowned Independent Bookshop of the Year regional winner for the South East. They stock a wide range of new books for adults and children, run book clubs, a children’s review program and magazine, host author events, supply local schools and have a cosy café in the shop serving coffee and cake.

Days Without End was chosen as one of the BBC’s 100 Novels That Shaped Our World, on the theme of identity.
