The year is 1216, and Prince Louis of France sees an opportunity to seize the English throne. Blocking his path is the ‘key to England’, the mighty fortress of Dover Castle. As this would-be conqueror attacks, will you help to defend the castle? Wander among the encampments and meet the heroes and villains from both sides. Gasp at daring demonstrations of historic weaponry as the opposing armies make ready for battle.
Discover the gruesome realities of thirteenth century life in a recreated medieval marketplace, and watch the armourers, fletchers and blacksmiths ply their trade.
As battle commences in an epic arena display, watch awe-inspiring siege engines begin their advance on the castle, and cheer on the defenders to their historic victory.

Under 16's must be accompanied by an adult.

Tickets will also be available to purchase at the event site on the day.
