The Joust: Battle for Good at Dover Castle

24th August - 26th August 2019
Dover Castle

The Joust: Battle for Good

Prepare for the joust to end all jousts. Four of the most skillful knights in the Kingdom, mounted on their magnificent steeds, are set to do battle in the name of good or evil. A marvellous display of chivalry will determine the victor of an epic tournament, all set against the picture perfect scenery of Dover Castle’s medieval keep.

Step back in time and discover medieval life in the living history encampments. Gasp in amazement at majestic falcons in flight, and laugh out loud at the antics of the mischievous court jester. Let your young squires test their bravery in the hobby horse jousting, before taking to the field as merry musicians set the scene.

Head into the arena as trumpets and drums herald the knights arrival and then cheer your hero to victory as the thundering contest unfolds. So saddle up for an action packed day out, and book your tickets to the most striking spectacle of speed, strength and courage England has seen since the Middle Ages. Good or evil, who will triumph?

HOW TO BOOK Ticket price includes entry to the event and site. Under 16's must be accompanied by an adult.
