Castle Hill Stables

Tunbridge Wells is a hub of activity, with plenty of events throughout the year you may not wish to even leave the town. Sample the restaurants, browse the antique shops or simply pack a picnic and head to the park to soak up the afternoon sun. Well situated on the Kent / Sussex border, there are many historic attractions, gardens and galleries within a short drive or train journey away. A fantastic base, or home for a few months if you are on business or studying in the area.

Alkham Lodge

By appointment only, beauty and therapy treatments, personal trainer/gym instructor and horse riding lessons/hacks can be arranged for guests prior to arrival (a min. of 48 hrs notice if possible). Ideal for pamper parties/hen weekends and team-building groups. In addition, shooting, fishing parties and tennis lessons can be arranged too. The spa facilities may be shared with the neighbouring cottage.

A luxury contemporary style B&B on the edge of Canterbury's historic city centre, the comfortable sitting room is decorated in soft shades, with a cosy wood-burining stove for winter's evenings. Off the sitting room there is a modern wetroom with lovely mosaic tiles, thick white towels, handmade soap and L'Occitane toiletries. Up a steep flight of stairs, the bedroom is decorated in black and white with an antique glass chandelier and dark wood furniture.

The location of the cottage could not be more ideal as it sits within a triangle of great places to visit. All within easy reach in 15 to 30 minutes. To the North there is the transport hub of Ashford to whisk you to London or France, to the West is the beautiful Weald of Kent with lovely towns such as Tenterden and Cranbrook, and to the South is the historic coastal town of Rye and the stunning sand dunes of Camber.
